Did You Know?
You can't block your phone number when calling a 1-800 number. ID block will not work.
When you dial a toll-free number, the party you call is able to identify your telephone number using telephone network technology called Automatic Number Identification (ANI). The FCC has ruled that since the owner of the 800 number is paying for the call, they are entitled to see the incoming number, even if your caller ID is blocked.
